Terms of Service

Welcome to Good Morning Sunshine. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Good Morning Sunshine mobile application (the "App"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. What the App Is (and Isn't)

Good Morning Sunshine is a personal wellness companion that helps you track supplements, medications, daily check-ins, and related wellness habits.

The App is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Nutrient information, reminders, insights, and any other content in the App are for general informational purposes only.

Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before starting, stopping, or changing any supplement or medication. Never disregard professional medical advice because of something you read in the App.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the App. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may only use the App with the consent of a parent or legal guardian.

3. Your Responsibilities

When using the App, you agree to:

• Enter accurate information about your supplements and medications, since reminders and insights are only as good as the data you provide.
• Verify all dosage and scheduling information against your product labels and your healthcare provider's instructions.
• Not rely on the App as your sole reminder for critical medications.
• Keep your device secure. You can enable the optional Face ID / biometric lock in Settings.
• Use the App only for lawful, personal, non-commercial purposes.

4. Beta Software

The App is currently offered as a beta release through Apple TestFlight. Beta software may contain bugs, may change significantly between releases, and may occasionally lose or reset data. We recommend exporting your data regularly (Settings → Export Data) during the beta period.

Feedback you submit about the beta may be used to improve the App without obligation or compensation.

5. Your Data Stays on Your Device

The App stores your wellness data locally on your device. We do not operate accounts or servers that store your personal health information. You are responsible for backing up your device and exporting your data if you wish to preserve it. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

6. Third-Party Services

The App uses a small number of third-party services to function:

• NIH Dietary Supplement Label Database (DSLD) — when you scan or search for a supplement, the barcode or search term is sent to this public U.S. government database to look up product information.
• Apple services(App Store, TestFlight, notifications, Face ID) — governed by Apple's own terms and privacy policies.
• Expo Application Services — used to deliver app updates.

7. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, artwork, characters, text, and code, is owned by Good Morning Sunshine and protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal purposes. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or reverse-engineer the App except as permitted by law.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT REMINDERS WILL ALWAYS BE DELIVERED.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, GOOD MORNING SUNSHINE AND ITS CREATORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF DATA, HEALTH OUTCOMES, OR MISSED DOSES, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE APP.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability, so some of the above may not apply to you.

10. Changes to the App and These Terms

We may update the App and these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated effective date above. Continuing to use the App after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.

11. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it from your device, which also deletes your locally stored data. We may suspend or discontinue the App (including the beta) at any time without liability.
